Grant to FACE AIDS

                  

FACE AIDS organizes youth chapters in Rwanda to fight HIV/AIDS. They currently have 35 chapters involving about 1,200 members across Rwanda’s Eastern Province. With the $10,000 grant from AllPeopleBeHappy, 6 highest-potential proposals from the chapters will each receive approximately $1,000. Each chapter implements its project over a six-month period; projects are in the areas of malnutrition, drug use, sexual health, and maternal health, all as they related to HIV/AIDS. After the 6-month period, the chapters are then engaged in business training and structured savings program, receiving and investing their stipends. (www.faceaids.org)
